A butterfly is an insect of the order Lepidoptera. Like all Lepidoptera, butterflies are notable for their unusual life cycle with a larval caterpillar stage, an inactive pupal stage, and a spectacular metamorphosis into a familiar and colourful winged adult form. Most species are day-flying so they regularly attract attention. The diverse patterns formed by their brightly coloured wings and their erratic yet graceful flight have made butterfly watching a popular hobby.

Classification

Presently butterflies are classified in three superfamilies,

1.Hedyloidea, consisting of the 'American moth-butterflies'

2.Hesperioidea, consisting of the 'skippers'

3.Papilionoidea or 'true butterflies'.

The last two superfamilies are probably sister taxa, so the butterflies collectively are thought to constitute a natural group or clade.

The four stages in the lifecycle of a butterfly.

Unlike many insects, butterflies do not experience a nymph period, but instead go through a pupal stage which lies between the larva and the adult stage (the imago). Butterflies are termed as holometabolous insects, and go through complete metamorphosis.
1.Egg :-Butterfly eggs consist of a hard-ridged outer layer of shell, called the chorion. This is lined with a thin coating of wax which prevents the egg from drying out before the larva has had time to fully develop. Each egg contains a number of tiny funnel-shaped openings at one end, called micropyles; the purpose of these holes is to allow sperm to enter and fertilize the egg. Butterfly and moth eggs vary greatly in size between species, but they are all either spherical or ovate.

2.Larva, known as a caterpillar :-are multi-legged eating machines. They consume plant leaves and spend practically all of their time in search of food.

3.Pupa (chrysalis) :-When the larva is fully grown, hormones such as prothoracicotropic hormone (PTTH) are produced. At this point the larva stops feeding and begins "wandering" in the quest of a suitable pupation site, often the underside of a leaf.

4.Adult butterfly (imago) :-The adult, sexually mature, stage of the insect is known as the imago. As Lepidoptera, butterflies have four wings that are covered with tiny scales (see photo). The fore and hindwings are not hooked together, permitting a more graceful flight. An adult butterfly has six legs, but in the nymphalids, the first pair is reduced. After it emerges from its pupal stage, a butterfly cannot fly until the wings are unfolded.

Eid Al Fitr is a day of blessings for all fasting Muslims as they are promised great rewards by almighty Allah for observing their fast.

By the end of Ramadan,Muslims express their gratitude to Allah for enabling them to fast and at the dame time granted them abundant provision during the blessed month.Eid Al Fitr,therefore,is a day of joy,acts of worship,thanksgining to Allah,britherhood,unity,and spriritual provision.

What Muslims do during Eid

On the day of Eid,there are some sunnah acts that muslims should do,including:

1.Wake up early and have breakfast before leaving for the Eid prayer ground.

2.Dress in the best clothes that a Muslim can afford,that are reasonable and modest.

3.apply perfume.

4.Offer Eid prayers in congregation in an open place.

6.Engage in takbir pryers after the Faj,or sunrise prayer,until the imam comes out fro prayers.Takbir is recommended for males,females,young and old.

7.It is also important to make sure to pay Zakat Al Fitr befor the prayer.Ideally,it should be given in advance so that the poor can enjoy their Eid

8.It is also good islamic practice to visit one another and exchange gifts.

9.Remember the true spirit of Eid is reflected in extreme generosity to the poor and the needy.So,a Muslim should be charitable as best as he or she can.

10.Wish every one the joy of Eid...etc

Dates (Arabic: تمر Tamr) have been a staple food of the Middle East for thousands of years. The Coconut Palm (Cocos nucifera) is a member of the Family Arecaceae (palm family). It is the only species in the genus Cocos, and is a large palm, growing to 30 m tall, with pinnate(feather like) leaves 4-6 m long, pinnae 60-90 cm long; old leaves break away cleanly leaving the trunk smooth. The term coconut refers to the fruit of the coconut palm, though a nut and not a fruit.

Coconut - origins

Wild coconuts probably first came from the islands of the western Pacific and eastern Indian oceans. They have spread throughout the humid tropics carried by ocean currents and humans who recognised their value early on.

Nearly all parts of the coconut palm are useful, and the palms have a comparatively high yield, up to 75 fruits per year; it therefore has significant economic value. The name for the coconut palm in Sanskrit is kalpa vriksha, which translates as "the tree which provides all the necessities of life". In Malay, the coconut is known as pokok seribu guna, "the tree of a thousand uses". In the Philippines, the coconut is commonly given the title "Tree of Life".

The coconut provides a nutritious source of meat, juice, milk, and oil that has fed and nourished populations around the world for generations. On many islands coconut is a staple in the diet and provides the majority of the food eaten. Nearly one third of the world's population depends on coconut to some degree for their food and their economy. Among these cultures the coconut has a long and respected history.
